About us.

We aim to support victims of abuse by providing short and long term services that will provide them with safe and stable accommodation as well as an environment in which they can learn important life skills or attain the qualifications that will positively change their lives.

Additionally, the Foundation has a network of connections that will provide the relevant referrals to third parties and agencies, assistance and support to victims and their families, including information around escape and safety plans, community education around recognising abusive relationships and the provision of general crisis information.

Our mission is to provide the stability and time for healing so that victims and their children will come to know that they are loved, respected and are worthy. This will assist them to become valuable members of their community, able to give back and break the cycle of abuse.

The Sweet Dreams Foundation is a registered charity but not government funded. It is run solely by volunteers who believe in the mission and values of the Foundation. It relies entirely on donations and the generosity and kindness of organisations and individuals wanting to make a positive difference to the most vulnerable in our society.
